Welcome to ABC Preschool

Established in 1963, ABC Preschool & Daycare is proud to be the very first preschool in Castro Valley. For over 60 years, we have supported families by providing a clean, safe, and nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive.

Our mission is simple: to give your child the balanced foundation they need—socially, emotionally, mentally, and physically—through a Montessori-inspired approach to education.

Our daughter was at ABC Preschool for her first four years in Castro Valley, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The teachers are so warm and caring, and it always made me smile to see her latest arts and crafts displayed by the front door. I also loved that they spoke Spanish with her, which helped her learn in ways I struggled to do at home. They hosted fun family events like Daddy and Me, Halloween, and Christmas, and it was so special to see her with her friends and show us her favorite play spots outside. The lovely teachers at ABC took incredible care of both my kids for upwards of 4 years. The older was so well prepared for TK and both kids grew so much in their care.
